U.S. acquisition of financial assets excluding financial derivatives in Korea from 2003 to 2014

과연 미국이 한국금융시장에 얼마나 투자했는지 궁금해서 조사좀 해보았습니다. 지난 2003 년 이후 미국이 한국금융시장에 총 $67.4억달러를 투자했습니다. 2008년 금융위기 전까지는 매년 $5 억달러내외를 투자했다가 , 2008년에 금융위기로 인해서 $10 억달러를 유출해갔습니다. 하지만 2009년 연준의 양적완화로 인한 넘치는유동성으로 2009년부터 2011년까지 매년  약 $13 억달러가 한국에 투자되었습니다. 이기간동안 총약 $38 억달러가 한국에 투자되었습니다.  그러다 액수가 2012년에 확줄다가 다시 2014년 에는 10억달러까지 회복했습니다. 미연준이 양적완하 이후 약 총 $47.3 억달러가 한국에 투자했습니다.  

The following chart illustrates the historical U.S. investments in Korea since 2003. Before the financial crisis in 2008, the average annual U.S. investment in Korea was approximately $5 billion dollars per year.  When the financial crisis occurred in 2008, the U.S. financial institutions withdrew more than $10 billion dollars from Korea. However, the waves turned back in 2009, and the U.S. began to invest heavily starting from 2009 to 2011 because of the Quantitative Easing implementation by the Federal Reserve. The total U.S net investment between the years 2009-2011 is approximately $38 billion dollars.  The amount of U.S. investments in Korea sharply declined in 2012, but gradually increased to an estimated $10 billion dollars in 2014. Since 2009, U.S. has been investing a total of $47.6 billion dollars in Korea.

아래차트는 지난 미국이 한국에 금융시장에 투자한액수가 총 $ 67.4 억달러인데 그중에 $47.6 억달러가 2009년 이후에 투자가되었습니다. 약 70% 정도가 연준의 양적완화이후에 투자되었습니다. $24.3 억달러가 주식시장에 그리고  $11.7 억달러가 채권에 투자되었습니다.
